International Involvement

Our club makes it a priority to establish initiatives to:
  1. Get the club passionate about a long term project
  2. Support youth exchange
  3. Continual learning and support of International issues and projects

Some of the ways we are committed to accomplishing this include:

  • Determine the a long term project for our club with maximum knowledge and involvement
  • Increase the number of local Rotarians participating in International service trips by two each year
  • Continue to host one exchange student every year
  • Commit a minimum of $2500 annually to Area 8 projects and supplemental International projects
  • Develop comprehensive annual club fundraising plan that addresses International grant making

Youth Exchange

Youth Exchange provides opportunities for young people to meet people from other cultures, live in their countries and in their homes, enriching the lives of both families and countries. This program has been part of Rotary since 1927, and currently involves more than 82 countries and over 8000 students each year.
